I Want To Make Black History

This Black History Month, not only am I going to learn about the past contributions of African Americans, I’m going to MAKE some Black History of my own! I’m not sure what I can do in 28 days to get myself listed in the history books, but damn it, I’m resourceful. I’ll figure out something!

Once More For Black History Month

I saw this old clip from Def Poetry Jam making the rounds on a couple of blogs at the beginning of the month. I didn’t have a suitable Black History Month contest ready in time for this year, so I am going to post this video over here to hopefully inspire folks to continue learning about the contributions of Black Americans to the world.
