Black Dynamite Comes to DVD on Tuesday, 2/16/10

I cannot wait to get this DVD! Black Dynamite was easily the funniest movie of the year. It’s even funnier than The Hangover in my humble opinion. Why else would I give them this much free press on my blog?

Tuesday, February 16, 2010, you can pick up a copy of Black Dynamite in stores and see it, since I know the film was in limited release and did not make it to a lot of areas.  Go here to pre-order it on Amazon. I can only imagine the type of extras and special features on the DVD…I might actually buy it during my lunch break, just so I can immediately watch it when I get home!

Oh yeah, there’s also a Black Dynamite Animated Series on Cartoon Network/AdultSwim coming later this year, so be on the lookout for that.

Obsession

Wait a minute…That’s not the Obsession I meant to write about! I’m referring to Obsession the film starring Beyonce and Idris Elba. This Obsession is the stuff I used to wear in 8th grade, hoping it would get some older girl to dance with me, since I was too chicken-sh*t to go ask her myself back then. The Soundtrack To My Life

A bunch of people have been making notes on Facebook titled “If Your Life Were A Movie, What Would Be The Soundtrack” lately. I thought about going that route, but once I started looking through my iPod and building a list, I realized that I love music(and myself) too much to limit things to a mere Facebook note. I can’t fake like my life is interesting enough to be some long-ass Oscar nominated epic biopic like Ghandi or Malcolm X. However, my low-budget sleeper hit of a film will require a box set for the soundtrack!
