Miss America is From Fredericksburg!

Caressa Cameron, the new Miss America is originally from my hometown of Fredericksburg, VA. I’m really happy to hear that! Headed To VA To Vote

I’m making a trip all the way to Fredericksburg, VA  in order to vote first thing in the morning. Sure, I probably should have changed my info to DC by now, and I probably should have sent in an absentee ballot weeks ago to avoid this trip…but that’s beside the damned point!

The point is, if I can go through all of these extra steps to vote, then you can take your stankin’ ass to the polls, too! Especially in the case of my felow black folks. People gave their lives, just so this generation would have the right to vote. That’s reason enough to go to the polls. I don’t care if you hate all of the candidates and you decide to write-in a vote for T-Pain…just take your ass out there and excercise your right!

Then again, if you vote for T-Pain, you deserve to be slapped. I think T-Pain himself would probably make fun of you for that.

All Dressed Up With No Place To Go

I have a hangover. A swag hangover, that is. That Darryl Jenks confidence has carried over to today. Not only am I walking around like my sh*t don’t stink…I’m walking around like it smells like imported designer cologne. My sh*t is smelling real effervescent right now! What’chall know about doo-doo with built-in effervescense?

The only problem is, I have to go to Fredericksburg tonight. I’m looking like a jillion buck, and smelling like own personal brand of effervescent fecal matter, but I’m not going to be able to unleash the potency of this swag on the District of Columbia.     Read the rest of this entry »

YAAH TRICK YAAH

How was everyone’s holiday weekend? Did you enjoy yourselves? Did you spend time with family and loved ones? If so, did you come back to work today with any funny stories from the weekend?

Well guess what: I did! The only problem is, my entire family reads this blog now, as I discovered when my Mom immediately chastized me for making fun of the Sisqo-hair lady about a week ago. So since I do not want to be banned from all family gatherings this summer, I’ll refrain from cracking jokes about the funniest occurences of the weekend.
