The other day, one of my readers (also named Leon) brought my attention to a plagarist who has been stealing entire entries of mine. As many of you know, this is about the third or fourth time that I have caught someone plagarizing my jokes and antecdotes on life experiences, attempting to pass it off as his or her own. I have thus decided that I am going to spend every bit of my free time over the next few weeks writing a separate set of essays entitled The Art of Apathy, none of which will appear here on the blog. I fugure, if people like my jokes and stories enough to steal them, I may as well get paid for it!
In the meantime, it’s time to once again make a plagarist famous. The blog that is stealing my content is called Amooti’s Chronicles, but it could just as easily be named “Stories I Stole From ListenToLeon.net” or something along those lines. The craziest part is that this is an African blogger taking my stuff. I’ve heard of international diamond thieves, but international blog thieves?! How pathetic can you get?
Amooti, YourBooty, or whatever your real name is, I just want to know why you did it. Don’t you have some e-mail scams you should be sending out or something?* I’m sure you can find things to do with your time online more rewarding than stealing blogs. Read the news…Watch some porn…Illegally download some music. Any of those activities are more socially acceptible than taking another man’s stories and claiming them as your own. That’s just…sad.

Hopefully, WordPress will get this person deleted swiftly, the way that Blogger did with my last plagarist. If possible, I’d like for each of you to write to WordPress and let them know about this, since your help last time brought a quick end to the madness.
*Note: In no way am I implying that all African people send out out e-mail scams. I love my brothers and sisters in Africa, and I hope to someday visit a few countries out there. That said, if this particular fellow is stealing blog entries, then sending out letters promising $12 million wired to your bank account is not too much of a stretch. While I’m at it, let me just say that if you are offered $12 million dollars and you have not
a.) just scored 4 touchdowns in the Super Bowl,
b.) committed a contract killing for the Mafia,
c.) sold your extremely successful business to Viacom, Microsoft, Yahoo or Google,
d.) had some other sort of amazing circumstance that pretty much NEVER happens to anyone else,
then it’s too good to be true. You just don’t get something for nothing. You’d be hard-pressed to find a stranger willing to give you $12, let alone $12 million! Hope that saved somebody out there from getting e-mail scammed from AmootiBooty or one of his associates.

Dude is ridiculous. I don’t understand why people think they can get away with this stuff. This same thing happened to Apex, the guy who produced “I Get Money” for 50. There was some dude who stole the beat from Apex and gave it to 50. He was even doing interviews on how me made the beat. Luckily Apex found out about it and justice was served. I hope you are able to resolve your issues as well.
