Thanks for Making Me a Finalist

Thank you for nominating me in the 2011 Black Weblog Awards. Your efforts have made me a finalist. I’m in the “Technology” category as opposed to the “Humor” one for some reason, but that’s neither here nor there. I’m not going to worry about the whys, hows or what the f*cks; a nomination is a nomination and it’ll look good on the ol’ writer resume regardless! Therefore, I filmed a special thank you video for you guys last night.

Also, please ignore the giant photo of a rather angry-looking African guy in the background. He won’t jump through your monitor and go on the attack unless provoked. Then again, if you don’t vote for me, I can’t make you any promises. He may be under your bed right now along with the Boogeyman and Chuck Norris, waiting to vigorously teabag you to death. So do the safe thing, and vote for ListenToLeon. Cheers!

      I dig the girl that was laughing in the background… She chuckled consistently, heartily and dutifully.
      By the way-that was a mighty aggressive rendition of the song. I was kind of scared.
