The blog has had technical difficulties, so since I have not been able to post anything, I must hit you with a Tsunami of announcements. First things first, I have been doing pretty well lately, as you can probably tell from my money photo above. Don’t worry, I am not about to tell 47% of you to go to Hell like Mitt Romney did. I merely put this image up here because business is starting to pick up for me as far as comedy is concerned. Over the next month, I should be inviting you all to at least four different performances of mine.
Let’s start things off with “You Know What Really Grinds My Gears,” a.k.a. “Karaoke for Complainers.” This event is always on the last Thursday of the month at 1920 DC. the next edition is September 27th, so come by and laugh at this airing of the grievances/night of good music. I started a Facebook group where people have been doing funny rants in the spirit of the theme. It’s been up less than a week, and already has close to 900 members. Join us, and get a taste of what the live action event is all about. http://www.facebook.com/groups/grindsmygearsdc/
October 26, the day after next month’s edition of You Know What Really Grinds My Gears, I’ll be back performing at the DC Improv. The last show sold out, so get your tickets in advance!
I also just found out today that I’ll be performing at a future Silver City Presents show, hosted by Martin Amini. I do not know the exact date just yet, but I will keep you posted. I checked out the show last week, and it’s definitely fun.
As you can see, I have been using my offline time wisely. Sean Connery absolutely approves.
Hopefully, you can make it out to one or two of these comedy shows I’m taking part in if you’ll be in the DC area. Trust me, you WILL enjoy yourself!
