On the set of “The Good, The Bad, and The Funny” freezing my man-parts off in the cold.
I was recently in a street fight, wielding a monkey wrench. Thankfully, it was just a promo video for my friend Martin Amini’s comedy night as opposed to a real battle. If it had been real, I would not be here confessing to committing such a violent felony in print on a blog. I’d probably be on the run somewhere. That, or in a hospital recovering from my injuries.
The aforementioned clip is entitled “The Good, The Bad, and The Funny.” I was among the group of good guys, but I tried my best to look menacing with my monkey wrench weapon. Whether or not I succeeded is entirely up to you. I already know that I’m not the most threatening fellow in the world. You can take a look at the promo below and judge for yourself:
The video shoot super cold, but very fun to do. I enjoyed getting to know so many laid-back, funny comedians, DJs and filmmakers on a Sunday afternoon. I’d love to be a part of something like this again, although I hope it’s in warmer temperatures next time.
The comedy show being promoted is Silver City Presents: Martin Amini and Friends. It goes on 8PM every Friday night at Brass Monkey in Adams Morgan. Below is a clip from my first time performing at Silver City Presents. I highly recommend stopping through one night for some laughs.
