Tonight we’re celebrating that most Seinfeldian of holidays, Festivus. This installment of You Know What Really Grinds My Gears is taking it’s usual “Karaoke for Complainers” theme and allowing folks to have their very own “Airing of the Grievances” on a live microphone in front of a crowd at 1920 DC. Along with the usual complaining and great music, there will be feats of strength and an aluminum Festivus pole.
The Fesitvus pole for tonight’s event is miniature. I am using a replica mainly because I do not want any overzealous partygoers drunkenly attempting to show off what they learned in pole aerobics class and hurting themselves. We do not have attention whore insurance, so I must make sure that my bases are properly covered.
